McDonald’s diners hoping to make a quick profit are attempting to resell their BTS dipping sauces on eBay for as much as $500.
The fast food chain recently launched the highly-anticipated BTS meal after collaborating with the world-famous K-pop phenomenon.
The boy band’s signature order features a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, a large soft drink and the South Korean-famous sweet chilli and Cajun dipping sauces, with prices ranging from $10.70 to $12.30.
And now customers across Australia have listed the pop icons’ hand-picked special sauces for sale on eBay, with one attempting to sell their ‘near new’ BTS McNugget pack with two unopened sauces for a starting bid of $500.

Dozens of customers across Australia have listed the pop icons’ hand-picked special sauces for sale on eBay, including on for a starting bid of $500
The seller, from Western Australia, said in their description the chicken nuggets were only in the box for one minute and the meal box is in an ‘undamaged condition’.
There are currently more than 60 McDonald’s and BTS listings on eBay.
In another listing, one South Australian seller is attempting to sell a 10-sauce bundle for $300, while another person, from New South Wales, has listed the McChicken box with two sweet chilli sauces for $400.

Other sellers are attempting to sell the sauces individually, with prices starting from as little as $15 while some listing an empty McNugget box with the band’s logo for a starting bid of $28.
The eBay listings come just days after thousands of fans around the country raced to the fast food restaurant to get their hands on the seven-member group’s go-to meal.

Foodie Michelle, from Melbourne, was lucky enough to get her hands on the BTS Meal the night before it was set to launch.
She made a showing her running to the fast food restaurant to order the meal, before she shared her verdict.
‘Yum, the sauce is actually really good,’ Michelle said.
Another diner Stephanie shared a now-viral TikTok video where she claimed she was the first customer to get the BTS meal in Australia.
‘I think it’s because I looked desperate and so they gave it to me,’ she joked.
The BTS Meal is currently available in almost 50 countries around the world.
‘We know our customers and crew have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first celebrity signature order in Australia, and we’re thrilled that the collaboration is finally here,’ Liz Whitbread, McDonald’s senior brand manager, said.
Australian customers can order the BTS Meal in-restaurant, through contactless mobile order and pay in the McDonald’s App, at the Drive Thru or via McDelivery.
